Evaluating Transportation Equity - Project Selection Criteria and Performance Measures


Effective Complete Streets policies establish project selection criteria and performance measures. As agencies increasingly emphasize transportation equity, selection criteria and performance measures should be updated reflect this priority. This session will focus on how agencies incorporate equity into their technical practice by leveraging qualitative and quantitative data. Speakers will share research on how agencies have turn equity-focused Complete Streets policies into action and case studies of equity-driven prioritization from Arlington County, VA, and Portland, OR.
